We lost Excel file password, can't access file
Greetings:
We have been using an Excel spreadsheet for years at work. The system is working well, but we want to tweak it to allow it to import data from more external sources. Trouble is, the people who put the spreadsheet together don't work here any longer. We don't have the passwords, and we cannot make changes to feilds. Any ways to remove the password block which prevents us from changing formulas, Pivot Tables, and a range of other things? I've thought of rewriting the software, copying and pasting it into a new file, field by field, but it is monster spreadsheet. Ideas? |

I apologize, but our forum rules do not allow us to discuss password bypassing. I have to close the thread, thank you for understanding.
