Normal.dot not saving automatically
Hello,
Maybe I just don't know how it works. I know with word 2007 and 2010, when you make changes in word (font, insert autotext etc) it should save to template (normal.dot) automatically. So when I close out of the program, and open new document the changes are there. I cannot get it work like that in word 2003. When I make changes and close out. The changes don't stick. I have renamed normal.dot but made no difference. Its happening with one user running XP. I'm out of ideas. |

You need to do it manually.
Make your changes and do File ->Save As and drill down to: C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates
