Open pictures
I recently downloaded Serif Photo Plus. Now when I look at my pictures in all the folders, I see Serif Photo or something like that behind every picture, and when I click on that photo, Serif opens it up. How can I get the std. Windows photo viewer to open up the pictures. I am running Windows 7 and Office 2010 Plus.
Thanks, Mike

Hold the shift key down, right click on a picture, choose Open With. Choose the program desired and check the box to "always open with".
Repeat for each different picture type (jpg, gif, png, etc.) Sounds like you didn't watch what you were doing when you installed that software - you let it take over associations. |

You can also use: Start Orb > All Programs > Default Programs. It presents you with a more organised interface that makes it easy to set your defauts, so that you don't have to be fishing out the particular picture files in the Windows Explorer to right-click on them.
