Uninstalled Kaspersky now Vista login screen not responding to input devices
So I installed 2013 Kaspersky Internet Security on my grandmother's Vista machine. Some components of the program didn't install properly, so per instructions I uninstalled. Upon restart, once reaching the user login screen the keyboard and mouse illicit no response. I've tried both ps/2 devices as well as usb. Computer responds to devices before windows startup, as I can F8 into safemode, but cannot proceed past login screen.
Tried kaspersky rescue disk, attempting to restore usb function from the kaspersky command prompt, but receive the response "no windows install on this drive." Help? |

Look in the BIOS for the option to Enable Legacy USB devices and see if that helps.
