Exclamation repair

Hello,

I have 3 years old laptop with windows 7 that crashed. Laptop power up and then after a few seconds goes off even in the bios.
I need a name of a software that can be used to repair the hd or the windows os. I have heard in the past of a linux iso cd but don't know names.

Please open to suggestions to repair the the os, get in and save the files i need.

thanks

Mk.

Remove the hard drive and use a USB adapter to connect it to another computer to rescue your files. You have a hardware issue that cannot be solved with software.

A CD won't do you a bit of good if the laptop keeps shutting down. Go *BUY* a USB adapter.

IDE/SATA to USB 2.0 Cable Adapter - Turn Your 2.5", 3.5" or 2020
