Windows Media Player
I got a laptop with Windows 8 and every time i use Windows Media Player it freezes up and closes and ill reopen it and it will work fine. Anyone else having that problem or know a good fix for it. Thanks

What version is it? Have you checked for updates?

Its version 12 the latest im pretty sure. Checked for updates and non out there. Its just strange played these same files on Windows 7 no problems only started when i got my new laptop.

12 is the latest. May be a codec or simply an update not available yet. I would download and try VLC player. Probably will take care of that. You could also look for another media player at the MS Store.
