How can uninstal Kingsoft Office?

I am trying to uninstall Kingsoft Office from my computer but each time I get a message saying "Access Denied : You require Administrators permission". I am the only one using the computer and therefor there is no Administrator (s) and my computer can be accessed without a password. Does anyone know how the program could be uninstalled. Most of the links on the Kingsoft website (including Forums and Support) results in some incomprehensible jargon and the phrase "Page crashed and should b reported" in between! As for the software itself, I found it absolutely buggy and just want to get it out from my computer. Can someone please help? Thanks.

What operating system are you using? If using Vista/7, have you tried right clicking on the uninstaller and clicking "Run as Administrator"? Windows is real funny about that stuff: I'm the only user on my computer running Windows 7, and even I have to sometimes right click and choose, "Run as Administrator."

Thanks for the response. I am running Windows 8 Pro and it appears the only alternative would be to re-install the operating system just to get rid of Kingsoft Office. Fortunately the computer is new so I will not have to do any back-ups.
I then intend installing either Open Office of LibreOffice as an alternative to Microsoft Office.

I doubt the Kingsoft people could help you but here is their e-mail address for tech support from their website: kso@kingsoft.com.my

However, I would ask your question on a Windows 8 specific forum such as: eightforums.com/ because it's really a general question about Windows 8 requiring Admin permission to uninstall some software rather than an issue with Kingsoft.

Here's a possible solution for you: enable/disable windows administrator account
