Microsoft Outlook 2010 – problem with adding a new email address

I’ve deleted an old email address from Outlook 2010 and added a new Hotmail address to the same. These changes are reflected in the ‘E-mail’ tab of my account settings.

However, in the ‘Data Files’ tab of my email settings, my old email address is still listed. I cannot delete it. I selected my new email address as default, but dialogue has appeared opposite it saying ‘Not available’

Before I did all this, I downloaded the Outlook Hotmail Connector 32-Bit (I have Windows XP Home).

Despite this, when an email is sent to me, although it goes to my inbox at Outlook.com, it doesn’t go to my inbox in Outlook 2010. Likewise, when I send an email from Outlook 2010, it does not appear in my send box.

Could you please suggest a way to fix this problem (?)

Microsoft Outlook 2010 – problem with adding a new email address

Gladly, the problem seems to have resolved itself overnight.

Could you tell me how to transfer my the contents of my contacts address book from my old email account to my new email account (?)
