Can't insert graphics into Word docs. from presto pagemanager:
I am currently working on a doc. at work using Word: when I click on the insert tab and go to insert a graphic from presto page manager it is not offered: even though I have saved the graphics to zip and to 'my pictures' all other graphics are offered to insert, but not the ones saved by pagemanager, if I uninstall this software [having already saved to zip or my pictures will I be offered an alternative option in which to insert]?

I've run into this a couple of times with Pagemaker, it doesn't always like whatever format you are trying to paste, even though it may be a JPEG or BMP. The solution I have found is to open a program that you know Word plays nice with, paste your image into it, then cut it from there and paste it into Word.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks for that, it worked perfectly: then I noticed an button to paste straight into a Word doc. on a navigation bar at the bottom of Pagemanager; so I can just send it to a new Word doc. then copy and paste in the doc. I am working with.

Glad to help, and glad you found an even better solution. There are a lot of times that I cut a BMP, and try to paste it into Pagemaker (hehe, Aldus Pagemaker Ver. 5.0, before Adobe bought them out) and I get a big blank. So I open Paint, paste it there, cut from there, and paste into Pagemaker. And that works. I usually just leave Paint open in the background, that way I don't have to wait (all 5 seconds, lol) while it opens.
