FTP server

Looking for an easy to use Freeware FTP server to run on my win98.

I mainly want to be able to access my home PC from work.

I have PC anywhere and Lap Link Pro, they work good, but i am also thinking of using this to allow my GF or friends to maybe download as well. So I don't want to use thoses programs. Good Idea though.

Also a webpage server would be nice too if there is a easy to use free one.

I will look into War FTP

Hi byte,

If you are going to do all that, have you considered dual booting with linux and running FTP/server software that comes with it (eg. Apache)? Just thought I'd share another option. HTH

WSFTP

In my opinion, by far the best is WSFTP. It can be downloaded from various sites and comes in various versions, both "freeware" and "shareware"

I use War FTP and have had no problems. My laptop from work will not file share on my home network so I use War locally to share files as well as.
