About DATA Recovery

Here a few lines of Data Recovery -
Yesterday, because of going to help someone to get a problem fixed and I did post about this in a other board here - I was going to make a Step By Step Online help for this member..

But as it happens problems can occur and again it wasn't the fault on neither the computer nor the Software (Win98 Setup) but the failure of a human being - in this case ME>!!

To make a long story short - I was going to install Win98 on a Computer already had WinXp and also Red HAT7.0 , QNX on it and I took a small hard drive plugged it into the comp and Started with setup of Win98..

Setup told me that I had to delete that partition to get win98 installed and I hit enter - then it came back and told me that this was a NON DOS partition - as I didn't check the drive before I installed it into the computer I hit enter again as I was sure that I had disabled all other drives - Yes sure I did but I didn't disable the WinXP drive - so it was FDISKED by Setup Partition Deleted to 50 % - Because of my self did hit enter to without thinking - as it asked me I wanted to enable large disk access I should have known that this isn't the drive which Win98 was supposed to install as the drive is only 512 MB and there then LARGE DISK ACCESS will Not show up on SETUPS FDISK - because of what ever reason - I hit enter - and lost about 4 - 5 Gb data - of which most were backed up on the server here in my business - but as it happens always - just two days ago I placed some data on that particular WinXP drive - about 1 GB - and THOSE DATA WEREN'T backed up.. - Found half of it on the server which was made by autoback up.. but still about 500Mb missing - so now how could I get this DATA BACK?

I have a restore utility for Win2K named Restorer2000 - It isn't worth the money we paid for it - as it can't do anything... only the pro version and we didn't have this one..

Made a quick search on Internet and found this Utility - GetDataBack for NTFS -Oh there are version for DOS for Windows - dwownloaded that utility - and wow I just retrieved the data within a few minutes - without a major Loss .. you can download that program Here it's worth it's mone and it's fast - so if you destroy your hard drive then - do not waste to try to get it back using utilities like Norton DD or Checkdisk or whatever - DL this utility register it ( cost you a few dollars) and you will have your data back -

You still have to setup Windows or WinXp but at least the DATA which you spent writing or what ever you will get back - My partition was DELETED by 50 % WinXp repair wouldn't reconize it Win2k wouldn't reconize it - but this utility does what it promises.. ..

Installation takes a minute and works on all windows systems..filesize 1.1 mb to DL..

Hope this will help something..to get lost data back..
Thanks for reading..
