seperating info in a field
is there a way to seperate the info in one field? One of my programs put the persons name, address, city, state zip code and country all in one field. I need to seperate the info for a database.

As long as the file is in a format that can be read (.dat,.txt,.rtf,.csv,etc.) by a spreadsheet program this can be done easily. In MS Excel, you need to copy and paste your data into a single cell or column. From there, select the cells and in the toolbar click on Data --> text to columns. At this point you can choose to delimit the combined data by size or delimiters such as spaces, tabs, or commas. HTH
