Smile How do you make a bios update floppy?

A friend of mine used a win98 startup disk once by deleting certain files off of it, then downloading the update to the floppy. He deleted the files because the update was to large to fit on a floppy. Also I use win2k so not sure if a 98 startup disk will work.
Thanks in advance.

Download this file and run it, it will copy to a floppy only the basic files needed to flash the BIOS and will leave enough room for the flash files.

Edit: Sorry, I linked the wrong file, it is fixed now.

You can also put a blank floppy into any Win9x machine, open a DOS window, and type FORMAT A: /S

This will copy the bare minimum system files to make it bootable. Copy your bios flash file and the flasher executable to it, boot with it, and then run the flash. Doesn't matter what OS you are running.
