system comander and ghost

I am dual booting w98se and xp-pro on two seperate 40 gig hard drives, I am thinking about maybe splitting the w98 drive into two drives and putting lunix on it,
question could I use partition magic ver 7 to split the drive, and then use systemcomander to tri-boot, or boot what ever I want.
I also have drive image 5.0, plan on buying ghost this weekend,

changing from the dual boot menue to system comander is what I am worried about,
and is partition magic ok to use with it also.ver 7

Hi baily,

Yes, you can use Partition Magic 7...it's the only version that supports WinXP. Should do what you want pretty well. You could use System Commander, but Boot Magic comes with Partition Magic, which you could also use. From experience, however, I have had poor reactions from both. If your going to install Linux, Lilo, it's boot manager, is better than either System Commander or Boot Magic. Use it instead.

Hope this helps.
