Trying to rip a dvd, audio problems
I am trying to rip a dvd onto my hard drive.(Yes I do own it) I am using smartripper. The movie is "The Matrix" My problem is when it is complete, the vob files are numbered 1-6. The files 1-4 are perfect, no problems. Files 5 & 6 have half of the audio. All of the music is there but no voices and sound effects. I have ripped it twice and it is the same both times. The dvd plays fine on the system, it is a new dvd disk. I do not have any idea why it is doing this. Anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Smartripper is kinda old. You could try dvddecrypter at www.dvddecrypter.com.

Well, I tried dvd decrypter, it did exactly the same thing as smartripper. Oh well, so much for that.

Hmm. You said it's Matrix VOB 5 and 6, right ?
I too own Matrix DVD. Used DVD Decrypter to rip it, no problems. Sound is fine in all VOBs, including 5 and 6. This is strange. Sorry, but I can't help you. RJ Last edited by RJ; 07-31-2002 at 03:18 PM. |
