I would like to reformat my hard drive and cannot find my
product key for office 97. I am running windows 98. I tried without success to locate it in the registry. Is it possible to find the product key ? Thanks EG |

Do a search for Belarc Advisor I think it's www.belarc.com They have a nice prog that will scan your system and pull all pertinant keys off for you.

I thought you could get it in the Help -> About or something like that. Every Word Processor I have used (WordPerfect and MS) always displayed it there.

Office 97 Pro Product Key
Thanks for your suggestions,
I tried Belarc and was only given my Windows 98 product key. I also tried the about help which just revealed product id #. I was put on hold for a while at microsoft. If all else fails I will again try microsoft. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks EG |
