It is mainly images from autoshapes with some text.

From the Insert menu choose Object. When the window comes up, chose "Create From File," and locate the word document you would like to insert. I Think that you can spread it over multiple slides, too, if you need to.

Ha! Just happens to be an answer I was looking for as well, thnx. I just got Office XP (great upgrade from 97, prefer it) and am pretty new to Powerpoint, but now that I'm going to have to make presentations I'll have to learn it.
