Flashget not renaming filename

The download manager Flashget is a very powerful program for me to use, but today the problem

suddenly appears out of nowhere. Usually when the program wants to download a file that has the

same filename as and old file in the download directory, Flashget will automatic rename the file.

However today I noticed that Flashget stop doing that for some reason and simply replace the old file

with the new file when both have the same filename. I wanted to think that this is a software problem

with maybe a setting that I can just switch on and off, but I've been using Flashget for a long time

now and am quite confident that not such option can be found in the program. I then test the same

thing on my brother's computer, which has different hardware but is also using windows XP.

Flashget correctly rename the filename to avoid replacing the old file. I think this is a problem with

the setting of WindowXP but I don't know how to correct it. Any help will be very much appreciated.
