In order for you to keep your MP3 format you must make a DATA CD and not a music CD. When you choose to make a AUDIO CD adaptec will convert your MP3's to .wav files automatically. So just choose to make a data cd and they should retain the mp3 format so you can copy them back once you have reformatted.

Hi newme,

Are you hitting the "+" key along with the "Ctrl" and "v" keys? You only need to hit the "Ctrl" and "v" keys together...the "+" only means you hit both keys together.

If it types a V in there, that means that you are not *holding down* the ctrl key when hitting V. You can also right click the mouse and choose Paste, that is what you are trying to accomplish, copy and paste.

Try highlighting the location of the store folder with the mouse before pressing ctrl+C. That's what "select the folder location" implies.
