resource manager
Any suggestions for a good (and understandable in plain english) resource manager? I need to find my resource hog. Running Win98 SE.
Thanks! Rita

Wintop. This is one of the free Kerneltoys offered by M$.
http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/d...oy/Default.asp I know it says for Win95 only, but Wintop (Windows Process Watcher) works fine on 98. Don't install the whole set, just that one. As I remember, you run the download and it expands everything into the folder you are running it in - then you would right click on wintop.inf and select Install. |

Try Taskinfo 2000 @ www.iarsn.com
It shows all threads, process and CPU load for each in real time. It has helped me a number of times GL
