When I try to run musicmatch 7 runtime error comes out
"microsoft visual c++ runtime library abnormal program termination musicmatch....mmjb.exe". I've been using this program without any problem. This machine is an office PC which everyone here can use, so I don't have any idea what happened when I was out. Here's the spec: Windows NT4 SP5 64MB SDRAM IWILL mobo Pentium 2 400 MHz Any idea? Thanks |

hey, i dug thru the Microsoft website for a link that would help with that error and the musicmatch program, but was unsuccesful...
but... go to the musicmatch website and email their tech support to see if they have an answer... otherwise to start weeding out the possibilities of why it's happening, i'd suggest completely removing that program and reinstalling it... if that doesnt work, we can go from there..... good luck Last edited by cuffs007; 09-15-2002 at 09:12 PM. |

I just learned that our system administrator disabled all non-work related functions of this machine:
1. Musicmatch won't play. 2. All search engines are not working. Could not type or paste any characters in the search box. And ie browser would close if you keep on clicking the search box. 3. Frequently visited sites are also blocked including pcmech forum, & google aside from websense blocking porn sites. I restored everything by repairing the registry. My question is how did they disable it? Last edited by Bookworm; 09-23-2002 at 07:19 PM. |

I don't think we should answer that because the administrator did it for a reason, and you just undid his work. This would be a violation of PC Mech rules discussing avoidance of security controls put in place by the rightful custodian of the machine.
