font

Hi gang,

I have an image I created in CorelDraw 7.0, using the font Arrus Blk Bt for some of the text... I took the image to a local print shop for them to print a few copies out for me. They do not have this font on their system so I am trying to find it on my computer to email it to them. It is not listed in the "fonts" folder (my computer/control panel/fonts)... I also looked through the Corel folders in Windows Explorer, and did a search on the C drive for this font, with no luck... again it is Arrus Blk BT. Any ideas on where else to look? It must be there somewhere, right? I do not have any of the disks since the last move either. Thanks in advance!

Try looking through your fonts for ones named with just numbers or something strange like that. "Arrus Blk BT" is just it's Windows name. No telling what the actual file is called.

Open any strange ones till you find the match. It has to be there somewhere.

Thanks Jenni,

That is a great idea, although I ran out of time before the print deadline, so I changed the font on the graphic... I will use you idea to find it before the next print though,
Thanks!

I did some checking, and that's a Bitstream font - which makes sense because Corel uses them. If Bitstream Font Navigator was installed on your system along with Corel (it should have been unless you did a custom setup and unchecked it) try using it to find the font.
