OE6 and Hotmail
Awhile back a friend upgraded his machine from win95 to 98 and installed IE6 and OE6. His email is with hotmail (as it was with win95) and uses OE to check his hotmail account.
For some reason now some of his inbox messages show up twice. I eliminted it just being someone having trouble and sending it twice because I sent him a single message and it showed up twice. Some setting to look for or known problem I am not aware of? Thanks guys.

It is a known problem. I can't remember what the fix was. I don't use OE, but I have seen it posted one a lot of sites.You might check M$ knowledge base.
