Drive Copy

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the software prog Drive Copy or any of the other drive duplication/transfer software on the market?
I'm considering buying one of them to use on my pile. over the last 3 plus years, I've gone through 3 Maxtor drives and a couple of crashes that required Fdisk and reinstalling Windows and all my software. 3 weeks ago, I D/L'd IE6.1sp and got errors I uninstalled it and repeated, the 2nd time I tried to uninstall it do to errors, it must have yanked enough files out to prevent access to windows through safe mode, w/wo dos prompt, or through the boot disc. I bought another drive and have just about dragged all the files back to the new drive. I don't have a CDRW so I figured that a drive copy CD might solve the prob

Drive Copy is an excellent single purpose program - it will copy one drive to another exactly. It runs from a boot floppy. However, it's not compatible with WinXP for some reason.

Well, I am in the process of saving bucks to build my next pile and XP is part of it. The software would have to be compatable, I wonder if DC has a patch for the XP OS. Is Norton Ghost a stand alone or is it bundled with other software?

Norton Ghost:
1. Stand alone
2. also part of Norton Systemworks Prof.
3. can also be bought at Symantec's online store.

DC doesn't have a patch, but I believe Drive Image is compatible.
