Can I delete nag to download update?
I'm happy with the old version of many programs like Real Player
and do not want to update to a larger, more in my face, and intrusive version, which is also going to be copying files from my computer and recording my activity. Newer larger versions also make for a slower back up of my drive.
How can I find and delete ( permanently turn off) these annoying ' UPDATE NOW !! ' nags ?
Taking it out of the start up menu I suppose is a possibility,
but I want total termination.
