Interestingly, that direct link to Symantec gets me forwarded to this location:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/sabu/sysworks/pro/

Which is trying to get me to buy the pro version, so I went to Spoofee and it notes that the offer ended - shame!

Thanks anyway,

David.

I think it only stayed up for a couple of hours. I recieved an email from systemworks saying they shipped it and I should have it in a couple of weeks.

Mine has also been shipped. It didn't stay up for long. Maybe a day or two.

I ordered one, it never came either. I called Symantec about this & they told me it was for resellers only. Rats.

You know what they say, if it's too good to be true...

In the past I have gotten free versions of Symantec software that I didn't even ask for. Pretty cool except they are only good for 30 - 45 days. They also make it very hard to just uninstall to get rid of all the reminders. My advice is to stay away from anything from Norton that is free.

What a surprise....Its not likely a company would give out a copy of their software for free, why be in business if they are prepared to do something like that?
