Quicktime taking lessions from Realplayer???
Wow...tried more than once to uninstall quicktime for windows using their uninstaller. Did the uninstall, everything was A OK. It vanished from my system tray and the start menu.
I even went as far as to clean my registry keys using regcleaner. (it creates about 8 keys in the registry lol) So everything was gone...right? NOPE...once I rebooted....it was all right back there I've got 3 boxes unchecked in the msconfig/startup menu now lol. I know realplayer is a pain to get rid of...quicktime must be taking lessions from them lol I'll try it yet again ..hmmm Richard |

That is one of many reasons why I hate QT. Its bloated, has no display controls, doesn't uninstall completely, integrates itself too deeply in the OS. Jeez, I'll stick with WMP or Winamp3.
Too bad so many videos out there use the quicktime format. Don't worry I am sure you are not the only one that has problems with that piece of poo, not to mention RealPlayer (just as bad) |

You might hate QT, but there's very few if any players out there that can handle every known format for audio and video and at the same time be ported to every major OS.
