Outlook Express - Sent folder

For some reason, OE v6.0 hangs up when I try to access the sent folder. Everything else works fine. Any thoughts?

Very possible the the file is corrupt. One probable solution id to delete the file: sent items.dbx

EzyStvy--This is a problem i truly did not have an answer for. The solution you posted seems sound. The reason i am posting, I is because I like the way that u included the extra details,

I like seeing when a solution may have other effects that a warning is posted with it.

I renamed the Sent Items.dbx file......then sent a message. A new file was created and I could access the message. I then deleted the new file, properly renamed the old file hoping I could get back into it. No luck.....still hangs up. Must be corrupt. I wonder how to 'un-corrupt'.
