Send text worldwide ?
Hi, I'm about to send some family history/genealogy files both on CD and as an email attachment to family all over the world.
What would be the best format to send this in , so that they will all be able to read it? Who knows what they have on their machines. Foreign languages in a few cases. I am using MSWorks, 4.0 early version. It offers numerous options- rich text, word for windows, text. etc. etc. Can always buy new software if you think its worth it . Thanks, Chris |

Save it in a Word format, such as Word 97. That will probably give the most flexibility, as most word processor programs can read Word files.

Rich text. Any Windows word processor can read it, including Wordpad, and you won't lose much formatting, if any.
