Question Edit a Copy In Word Pad (question)

Greetings From Texas

When one uses Print Scrn and copies that to Word Pad, how come I can't highlight what I want and delete it?. There are many things I want to delete before sending it on in a e-mail. If i send a article that I have read to a friend,I want to cut out all the junk in it. Is all I want to send is the text of that article and mabe a picture if there should be one pertaining to that article.-------wah'da you think----------------Donald

When you paste a print screen into any app, you are pasting a graphic image of the whole thing - the text is part of that image and cannot be edited in a word processor. If you want to copy and paste *text* then edit it you can do a simple copy (by dragging the mouse to highlight the text then ctrl+C) and paste into Wordpad. Then you can copy and paste the associated individual images if you want.
