Is It Possible.........

I want to take a program that is set up on another computer. (ex. A.O.L.) and put it on my computer. Is that possible without the setup program? ( I've installed a new harddrive in my laptop but want a program that is set up on my desktop. ) Does anyone know a site wher I can download old software?

Depends on the complexity of the program. Generally, if the program is more than just an executable file, you need a setup program to write the needed entries in the registry, install the correct DLLs, and so forth. AOL would be one of those programs that needs a setup program.

Look around for a program called COA (Change of Address).
I'm not sure it will do what you want though, been awhile since I used it.
What program is it? Maybe someone has a copy somewhere.

I have a version that is so old it is 1.3meg and is on a single floppy. Let me know if you want it and I'll send it by email. Go to Juno's website and down load it.
