ISOs
What's the best software to get that can look at the content of CD ISOs (And even modify them). Anyone know of something good that is free on top of that?
![]() I have ahead nero burning rom, but it can only burn ISOs to a CD, not open them for inspection/modification. |

WinImage can open and build ISO-9660 image files directly from a CD-Rom.
WinImage can read and open ISO-9660 images created with CD-writer utilities such as Easy-CD Creator or CDRWin. You can also burn with these software packages ISO image build by WinImage. Unlike FAT, FAT32 or NTFS file systems, the ISO-9660 file system, used in CD-Rom and CD-Rom image file is not designed to allow add, suppress or rename file. WinImage cannot modify an ISO image. You can only open the image, display list of files in the image and extract them. There is only one exception, introduced in WinImage 6.0: WinImage can replace a file by a new version of the same file (same filename, same length). |

Ah, that makes sense
Thanks for the info. Is there any other way to get an exact copy of a CD then, which i could then modify? Does dragging all the files in the CD straight to my HD do a good enough job?
