PC Anywhere
I know the theory behind PC Anywhere, but was wondering if anyone can clear up a few things for me. Is it possible for a user to remote connect to his other laptop w/ PC Anywhere on it via Dial-up? would it be really slow? TIA-Snakeyes

Yep. The "other" laptop must be connected to the Net and have PcA waiting for an incoming call. You can then take full controll of it and pretty much do anything just like you're sitting in front of it.

PCAnywhere can connect either through the Internet or direct dial modem to modem. Yes, modem to modem OR through the Internet with either or both on dialup will be slow, but tolerable because all you are transmitting/receiving are keystrokes, mouse actions, and video refreshes.
