External hard drive
I just added a USB2 external hard drive so that I can use it with Norton Ghost 2003 to back up my system. The problem is the system won't boot when the external drive is attached. Since Ghost has to reboot into DOS mode to do its work, I'm stuck. Do I have to change My BIOS settings? My device settings? I'm stymied. (I'm using XP.) Thanks to anyone who can help.
