Question HydraVision?

I am using HydraVision with my ATI Radion 7500. I am using my TV as screen #2. For some reason, when I use the extended desktop, I slide my game , or movie, over to the TV to view it. But it will not allow me to view it in fullscreen mode, only windowed. If I tell it full screen it just goes back to screen #1 in full screen. How can I fix this. Also if I run a game on my TV it is very slow but the movies (mpegs) are fine? Haw can I fix this? I only have a celeron 850mhz. Will it change when I upgrade to my Athalon XP?

I never tried using a TV as a second display. Also, with dual monitors, I've never tried running games or movies, just "ordinary" apps on the second monitor.

I've never had an ATI card, so I've never used hydravision, but with my nvidia card I've needed to set the tv as the master display. I'm using a beta version of the windows media player now which allows me to go fullscreen on the tv while keeping my monitor master though. Do you have the same problem with your games?

Your processor is definitely not the problem here. What player do you use for your movies?

If you go into display properties and go under the settings tab, does it show two monitors? If so, you can enable it there. That's what I do. You might want to download the beta version media player. I think its a beta of version 9 which is available too, but the actual version 9 has the same problem with the full screen.

I think you can find the player here

If that doesnt work, then the only other way I know of to get it to maximize on the tv is to make it the #1 display.
