Drive Letters & Partition Magic

Is there a way to keep drive letters from changing when using Partition Magic? For example, I have Win98 on C:, XP on D:. If I go and add a logical partition, it adds the new partition as D: and changes D: to E:

Why the heck doesn't it just use the next available drive letter for the new partition?

After adding my partitions, my XP partition is up to drive L:

Use PM to change any drive letter to any letter you want, except the boot partition, which must remain C.

Holy crap! I totaly missed that menu! LOL...I looked for it, but missed that option. Thanks, reboot.
I do wish that I could choose the drive letter when I create a partition. The area that You would choose it was greyed out & could not be changed.

PM works that way, to keep everything in line. The magic it works on a drive is a pretty complicated procedure, and so it only gives you so many options at one time.
At least it works as advertised, and has more bells and whistles than most will ever use.
I seem to use it at least once a week, as I'm constantly resizing partitions, and/or merging/making new ones.
