please help!
I upgraded to word 2000 (ms office 2000) from word 97, operating on windows 98. The computer keeps coming up with fatal error exceptions and locks up all the time. I have no idea what to do. I pulled every techincal manual I could off of the microsoft website. I'll try them tonite. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do? I'll try anything!- Sara |

Hi,
Can you do a clean install of Office 2000 (as opposed to upgrading)? If so, does that help any, or do you still get the errors? HTH |

Did you try the repair option for Office 2000? If not give that a try first.

It Worked!
I uninstalled office, reinstalled it. Then changed the options so that Word was the only one that was installed... Then I had to rename the global template! Thanks for all your help!- Sara |
