I recently create an ISO image using CDRWIN 4.0A from a CD.But then I realised that I didn't put a directory for the ISO as I do it in a hurry...After that I can't find a trace of the CD"s ISO. The copying process runs fine until the end.
My hardisk space is running low and darn it I cannot find the ISO file... Did anyone have any ideas where the heck it put the ISO? Or how can I retrieve the ISO?I search for it for a whole day and end up for nothing!! ![]() Any help would be appreaciated.....Thanks!!

Search for *.* and sort by size.

find - files and folders - put *.* in and go for it - it will list every file on your computer. Sort by size when its done and you may get a clue.

Or just to narrow it down a bit, search for *.i* then sort by size.
Make sure you include "hidden and system files", as well asl subfolders just in case. |

I know it sounds weird but.......I got no trace of what so ever *.bin* or *.iso*.I know it's still inside somewhere in my harddisk coz the space was still the same.Could it be an error occur in the harddisk?

The file is probably corrupted. Run Scandisk then a disk cleanup to free up some space.

It could be lodged in a temp folder too, with a different extention...
AFAIK, temp folders don't show up on standard searches in Explorer. |

DO a search using *.iso, and search your C drive. This will look for any ISO files that are currently on your hard drive.

Go to control panel, Internet Options - Temporary Internet Files, Settings, and change the alloted space to 50 megs. That's plenty.

Yes you can delete them. You can do it from Internet Ptions or use Disk Cleanup. You can even delete them from the folder if you want.
