DVD to CDR Copy Software

Looking for free software recommended for copying dvd to cdr drive. I have looked around the net and found that the free ones are much to technical for this dude. Are there any free one that are simple to use? If not, what simple ones for pay are there out there that you would recommend? Simpler the better. Thanks,
doug

DVD2SVCD will automate the process of encoding a DVD to ~2 or 3 CD-R. It is a frontend for a lot of programs, and makes the process very easy. You will also need to download an encoder. I would recommend TMPGenc as your cheapest solution.

Ryan,
Thanks for your come back.

I looked at this and it seemed complicated. Is there a way of doing some burning without all the particulars with this system? Also, I have a 16x Lighton dvd drive that came with power encoding software. Are you saying I will need special software for the DVD2SVCD? How long does it take to copy a typical dvd movie running a p4 2.2 gig with 512 rambus along with plenty of space left on 120 hard drive. Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately there is no easy drag-and-drop solution. Let me ask this; what format do you want to convert your movie to so it will fit on CD-R's. You would not even be able to put one VOB from the DVD on a CD-R so you will have to covert to something. I had a system similar to yours and it would take about 7 hours to convert a DVD to SVCD.
