u having problems with WinMX lately?
hey kids,
anybody here having probs with winmx besides me? did "the man" shut them down? thanks |

I just used it last night and it was fine. Seemed quicker than normal, actually.
I don't think "the Man" can shut it down. It is decentralized. |

WinMX never worked very well for me.

Due to a slight 'modification' to seach strings, WinMX can only search it's own network if you are using WinMX 3.1 or higher. You can still use the OpenNap network using lesser versions, but otherwise, upgrade. (And no, they didn't tell anyone.)
