software for automatic computer activation?
is there a software that can start the workstation on a specific time and connect to the internet (i'm using dial-up) and run downloading software like kazaa? if there is, what would you recommend.
i'm going to use this in tandem with a ups during power outages when i'm not at home so that it would reconnect by itself. Last edited by JC00; 12-20-2002 at 07:07 AM. |

Automatic PowerUp can be set in the BIOS (for ATX boards).
Starting kazaa ? Well, put a shortcut in start > programs > startup. Kazaa should automatically connect then. At least Internet Explorer and Outlook Express can if you set it up, so I'm sure it will work with kazaa as well. RJ
