Photoshop 6 scratchfile
I just got a message from Photoshop 6 asking me to move the scratch file and another similar file to another partition or another hard drive. I'd be happy to do that but I don't know where the Photoshop scratch file is. I looked in the folder and I don't recognize it. Can anyone help me with this? (Win XP running on a Pentium 4). Thanks, Crank

The scratch file or scratch disk is just a temp file cache that PS uses. It is twice your RAM and it is also recommended if possible that it be in a different partition than the one PS is installed on. To change it in PS, go to Edit/Preferences/Memory and Image Cache
