Internet History

In my IE Properties, under General-History, I set the "Days to keep pages in history" to 0. When I reboot, it resets itself to the default value of 20.
Any suggestions?

If you set it to a number greater than 0, does it still revert back to 20? If not, then I'm guessing 0 days is not allowed, just set it to 1 and it will overwrite it everyday.

Windows will allow it to be set to zero. What OS are you using? Do you have any tweaking utilities installed such as tweakui?

Using XP. I have System Mechanic and Customizer XP installed. I just did a clean install last weekend. The problem started then. Had the same programs installed before with no problems.

Do they have settings for tweaking Internet history? I don't use either one but I know tweakui will over ride settings made in windows.

System Mechanic was the culprit. Thanks for the suggestion Tuf.
