video to image converter?

Is there a program that can take a video (such as an .avi) and give you it's frames as individual images (such as .jpg)?

You can use VirtualDub import a .avi, edit down to the frame(s) you want and then export to a .bmp sequence.

Otherwise most commercial video editors (Adobe Premiere, Avid ExpressDV, Pinnacle Studio, Sonic Foundry VideoFactory...) allow you to export one or more video frames as whatever you want.

Even Paintshop Pro's Animation Shop will do it I think.
