I'm new here, so please feel free to move this thread if it is in the wrong forum, however...
I was wondering if there was a CDR on the market that can do more than 700MB. A CDR that can do 800MB would be ideal. Thanks in advance... |

Pretty pricey... I wonder about compatibility issues. Also, if you need extra storage, and use it a lot, ever think about using a DVD burner for storeage? Just my $0.02 worth...

TwoRails, a DVD burner is on the menu. I'm getting a new PC within the next couple of weeks, but was wondering about archiving some of the CD's that I previously couldn't as they were > 80mins.

Good luck with your new system, Vigilante_26! Ya, a DVD burner is on my list, too. Gotta figure out if I want to get the DVD burner first, or upgrade to a AMD 2600+

Thanks. I just dropped quite a bit on my new system through DELL. I was a bit leery with their integrated CD/DVD/CDR/RW/DVD+R/+RW drive, however I hope it'll suite my needs.
The AMD 2600+ chip is a beauty. I went for the 2.4GHz Intel. Looks like I have some learning to do...
