norton firewall 2002
just installed this and now whenever i try to connect to the net while this is enabled , it just keeps throwing up windows saying "do you want to allow this" but all the time!! i cant get on the net unless i disable it !! anyone help me ??

i dont use norton but with every firewall when it is first installed you have to allow the sites you visit through your wall,when it asks you to allow it click yes and there will be another box you click that says "dont ask me again"(or something like that)youll only have to do it once.

Yep, newme is correct, make sure to check the box to reuse the same setting once you set it.

guys, done that , and was there for 5 mins doing it and it looked like it was repeating itself over and over !!!
i kept checking the box that said remember my answer but it seemed to be of no avail !!!! any more ideas drzaius ??? by the way i was using sygate which was fine and didnt give me these problems, but got the norton, and wanted to integrate this with my antivirus !! |

Check your security settings and make sure they're at medium level, if they're too high they'll ask you every time a program tries to use the net.

no mate. a while back i downloaded norton personal firewall 2003 trial version, and it was perfect. so i dont know if being 2002 is the problem. either way its annoying when those windows keep popping up regardless of what i do !!
