How can I make a tiled, seemless texture? Something like 50 x 50 pixels. Do I need a plug-in?
[edit]: added clarification

Am using fotoshop 7.x
Here's how I would do it .. I dont know if its the shortest way there is .. but its pretty easy nonetheless
1) Open of the texture that u want tiled all over for and select it (you can use the fixed size rectangular marquee tool to get your exact dimensions - 50x50) 2) Go to EDIT > Define Pattern... (name the pattern something you will remember) 3) Open up the picture u want to put the pattern in; create a new layer 4) go to Edit > Fill .. and select the pattern from the list. You can also define it as a brush and use a stroke if you would like as well. HTH |
