Hi,
Is there any freeware or shareware burning software that doesn't cost too much? My friend was given a Plextor burner and there was no software for it. She has windows 98 se. TIA

The plextor drives came with EZ-CD OEM, and any copy of it willl work on this drive. So fish around to see if someone has a copy of it that you can borrow.

Thanks not important, I'll tell her about it. If it's not too expensive she'd buy it afterword, but I think she already ruled it out as being too expensive at NewEgg, but maybe it's cheaper on-line. I saw Real Player had some kind of burner software on the free Real One Player, does anyone know how good that is?

I have a copy of Sony CDExtreme, free software, but no current download site. I also have the update for it.
Email or PM me, and I'll see that you get a copy somewhere. |

The Nero OEM may or may not work with that burner - you would be taking a chance.

Padus Diskjuggler - Almost fully functional demo version, but it limits you to slow burning (not an issue for me).
I've found it to be excellent, and less hassle than Nero that expires. David. |
