I recently downloaded windows Media Player 9 to play my MP3s, and then noticed my CPU temps around 50C instead of the normal ~46C. I looked in the windows task manager to check the CPU usage, all the way up at 50% (gasp!. So I switched back to MMJB and checked the task manger, my CPU usage dropped to about 2-4%..
Anyone else notice this? I assume it is rather common, I expected better from Microsoft(but at least the visuilations are cool). Logan

The visualizations suck up a lot of processing power. If you turn them off, then the CPU usage will drop significantly.
