multiple calenders in outlook 2000
In Outlook 2000, is there a way to have more than one calender, and if so, to have them showing at the same time? Someone asked me to do this for them and i have no idea how to do it.
Thanks ^dan |

You can show as many as you want. The easiest way to get there is to right click on the calender in the Outlook Bar and chose new window. I freqently have my Calender running in a different window than say my email or notes.

I think that will show you the same calendar more than once?
You can open up multiple calendars by using the 'open additional mailboxes' option under services I think. The owners of the other calendars will have to set you up a a delegate first though. David. |

Yes that will open up multiple instances of your own calender or allow you to see your calender and something else. I wasn't thinking about viewing someone elses calender. When I used to work in a large office I used to be able to do that but I would just see what I needed to see and go back to mine. But yes you you can open alenders side by side.
It would get confusing but you can have multiple Outlook's running at once also. |

I agree - multiple instances of Outlook would be very confusing!
Our PA used to have about six calendars that she managed, and she seemed to cope with them fine being open (in one instance of Outlook) at once. HTH, David. |
